The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 7th to 13th, 2011 in Rotterdam . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the SAP Open was played in San José and the Brasil Open in Costa do Sauípe . In contrast to the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, these were only included in the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in the singles was Robin Söderling . In doubles Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjić were the defending champions, but they did not compete together this year. Söderling was able to win the title again in 2011, defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final . It was his eighth of ten titles. Zimonjić also reached the double final again together with Michaël Llodra , but had to admit defeat to Jürgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner . They won their third joint title.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 32 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 1,150,000 euros, the total financial liabilities were 1,445,000 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place from February 5th to 6th, 2011. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
