The Farmers Classic 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from July 25 to 31, 2011 in Los Angeles . It was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week were in Umag , the ATP Studena Croatia Open and in Gstaad , the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad played that just like the Farmers Classic to category ATP World Tour 250 counted.

Defending champion in the singles was Sam Querrey , who had to cancel his participation due to injury. In the final, Ernests Gulbis prevailed against Mardy Fish , who played his second final within two weeks. For Gulbis it was the first season and second career title. In doubles, Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions, but they didn't compete this year either. In this year's double-final, Mark Knowles and Xavier Malisse defeated the Indian-Filipino pairing Somdev Devvarman / Treat Conrad Huey . This victory was their first joint title and their first success in Los Angeles. For Knowles it was the first season and 54th career title, while Malisse won a tournament for the second time in the season, it is the sixth double title for the Belgian.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize pool was $ 619,500 and total financial liabilities were $ 700,000.

The qualification took place from July 23 to 25, 2011. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
