Daniel Kosakowski (born February 21, 1992 in Huntington Park ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Daniel Kosakowski mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . At the Challenger level, he has not yet won a title, while he has already won four singles and one double on the Future Tour. On the World Tour , he qualified for the first time in 2011 in Los Angeles for the main draw of a World Tour 250 event and met Tim Smyczek in the first round , whom he beat in three sets. In the round of 16, however, he failed in two straight sets against Ernests Gulbis . In 2014 Kosakowski qualified again for a World Tour tournament, this time in Indian Wells, but lost there against co-qualifier Dominic Thiem .

In qualifying for Wimbledon , he lost in the second round to Pierre-Hugues Herbert with 1: 6, 3: 6. He has not played a match since then.
