The ATP World Tour Finals 2011 took place from November 20 to 27, 2011, as in the previous year in London , in the O2 Arena ; The game was played indoors on a hard court. It was the 42nd edition of the competition in singles, the 36th in doubles. In addition to the four Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP World Tour Finals are the most important competition in men's professional tennis; they take place at the end of the season. The tournament was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour .

Defending champion in the singles was Roger Federer , who won the title again this year; in the final he defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga , who survived the group stage at the ATP World Tour Finals for the first time and then reached the final. Federer won the 100th final of his career for the sixth time at this event and is thus the sole record holder (he was previously this together with Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras ). In doubles, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjić were the defending champions. This time Nestor reached the final again with another partner, Max Mirny , and was able to prevail against Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski . This is the fourth time that Nestor has won the competition, and for Mirny it was the second title at the year-end event.
