Tennis Masters Cup 2005

The 6th Tennis Masters Cup took place from November 13th to 20th, 2005 in Shanghai . If you count the previous tournaments, it was the 36th Masters.

Defending champion was Roger Federer , who beat Lleyton Hewitt in the 2004 final. In 2005 Federer surprisingly lost to David Nalbandian in five sets after winning the first two sets. In the preliminary round, Federer had clearly won against Nalbandian in three sets.
