The ATP World Tour Finals 2013 took place from 4th to 11th November 2013, as in the previous year, in London , in the O2 Arena ; The game was played indoors on a hard court. In addition to the four Grand Slam tournaments, the ATP World Tour Finals are the most important competition in men's professional tennis; they take place at the end of the season. The tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 .

Last year's winner Novak Đoković was able to confidently defend his title. In the group stage he won all three games and met in the semifinals against the Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka , who reached the semifinals when he played for the first time. After a clear two-set win against Wawrinka, Đoković met Rafael Nadal in the final . However, Nadal was unable to convince in the final and clearly lost the game in two sets with 3: 6 and 4: 6. Thus, Đoković won the season finale for the third time, catching up with John McEnroe and Boris Becker , who also won three times. In doubles, Marcel Granollers and Marc López from Spain were the defending champions who defeated Rohan Bopanna and Mahesh Bhupathi from India in last year's final. They made it into the top eight teams of the season again, but retired early after two defeats and one win in the group stage. The winner was another Spanish double, David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco , who defeated the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan in the final. For both of them it was the first victory at the ATP World Tour Finals.
