The Erste Bank Open 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place in Vienna from October 13th to 20th, 2013 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week were in Stockholm the If Stockholm Open , and in Moscow the Kremlin Cup played that just like the Erste Bank Open to category ATP World Tour 250 counted.

Defending champion in the singles was the Argentine Juan Martín del Potro , who decided not to take part in the tournament this year. The individual competition was won by the German Tommy Haas , after beating Robin Haase from the Netherlands in the final . For Haas, this was the third final of the year, his second title on the ATP World Tour. Overall, he celebrated his 15th career title. In doubles, the pairing Andre Begemann and Martin Emmrich were the defending champions, but this year they were eliminated in the starting round. Florin Mergea and Lukáš Rosol won the final in straight sets against the duo Julian Knowle and Daniel Nestor .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

The qualification for the Erste Bank Open 2013 took place from October 13th to 15th, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
