The Portugal Open 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 29th to May 5th, 2013 in Oeiras . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played on clay court. In the same week, the BMW Open was played in Munich , which, like the Portugal Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in singles was Juan Martín del Potro , in doubles the pairing Jean-Julien Rojer and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi . The winner was the second seeded Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka with a 6: 1, 6: 4 final victory over the top seeded Spaniard David Ferrer . The pairing Santiago González / Scott Lipsky won the doubles competition .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round.

The qualification for the Portugal Open 2013 took place from April 27 to 29, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
