Frederico Ferreira Silva (born March 18, 1995 in Caldas da Rainha ) is a Portuguese tennis player .

Career

Frederico Ferreira Silva mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated three single and seven double victories on the Future Tour.

He made his debut in doubles on the ATP World Tour in April 2013 at the Portugal Open , where he formed a doubles pair with Leonardo Tavares . However, they already lost their opening doubles against David Marrero and Marcelo Melo . The following year, Silva received another double wildcard for the Portugal Open , but lost, this time alongside Rui Machado , again in the opening round of the double competition.

Frederico Ferreira Silva has played for the Portuguese Davis Cup team since 2014 . For this he competed in two encounters, whereby he has a balance of 1: 1 in the individual.
