The St. Petersburg Open 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place in St. Petersburg from September 16-22, 2013 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the Moselle Open was played in Metz , which, like the St. Petersburg Open, belongs to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in singles was Martin Kližan , in doubles the duo Rajeev Ram and Nenad Zimonjić . In the singles Ernests Gulbis prevailed and won the tournament. The top seeded Spaniards David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco prevailed in doubles, defeating Denis Istomin and Dominic Inglot in straight sets in the final.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

Qualification for the St. Petersburg Open 2013 took place on September 14th and 15th, 2013. Four qualifying places were played that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
