Purav Raja (born December 7, 1985 in Bombay ) is an Indian tennis player .
Career
Purav Raja celebrated successes as a double specialist initially on the second-rate Challenger Tour . So far he has won four titles in doubles. In Grand Slam tournaments , he reached the main draw of Wimbledon 2013 via qualification . On the ATP World Tour he and Divij Sharan moved into the final in Bogotá after only a few tournaments , where they defeated Édouard Roger-Vasselin and Igor Sijsling 7: 6 4 and 7: 6 2 . He reached his highest single placement in the world rankings on July 30, 2007 with position 813. In doubles he reached position 71 in March 2014.
Purav Raja made his debut for the Indian Davis Cup team in 2013 . At the side of Leander Paes , he won his first game for India against South Korea .
