Michał Przysiężny [ ˈmixaw pʂɨˈɕɛ̃ʐnɨ ] (born February 16, 1984 in Głogów ) is a Polish tennis player .

life and career

At the Junior Grand Slam tournament in Paris in 2002 Przysiężny reached the semi-finals in doubles alongside Attila Balázs , but lost to Philipp Petzschner and Markus Bayer .

In the same year he was able to win the first futures tournament in Montego Bay , Jamaica . In the next few years, Przysiężny continued to play on the future and challenge level. In 2007 he won his first Challenger tournament in Wrexham , Great Britain .

Since mid-2009, Przysiężny has been climbing in the ATP ranking. He won three futures tournaments in a row. At the end of 2009 he was able to win the Challenger in Helsinki , Finland as a qualifier. Victories in Kazan , Russia and Saint-Brieuc , France followed. Two weeks later, when he reached the final in León , Mexico , he made it into the top 100 of the ATP rankings for the first time.

Przysiężny has been playing for the Polish Davis Cup team since 2004 .
