The Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 23 to March 2, 2013 in Acapulco . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships were played in Delray Beach and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in Dubai . The latter, like the Abierto Mexicano Telcel, belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

The qualification for the Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2013 took place on February 23 and 24, 2013. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
