The bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships 2013 was a tennis tournament that took place in Hamburg from July 15 to 21, 2013 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2013 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week, the Claro Open Colombia took place in Bogotá . However, in contrast to the bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, these only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

In the singles was the defending champion Juan Mónaco , who was placed fifth this year. David Marrero and Fernando Verdasco won the doubles title last year . They also competed again this year and were placed third.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 48 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The 16 top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

The qualification for the Bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships 2013 took place on July 13th and 14th, 2013. Six qualifying places that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament were played out.
