Margaret Smith defended her title in both singles and doubles with Lesley Turner and also won in mixed alongside her compatriot Neale Fraser . In the men's doubles there was the first purely German victory since 1939 by Ingo Buding and Christian Kuhnke . The women's final reached Edda Buding .
