Lesley Turner, 1964

Lesley Turner Bowrey (born August 16, 1942 in Trangie ) is a former Australian tennis player .

Career

Her greatest successes were victories in women's singles at the French tennis championships in 1963 and 1965 at the Roland Garros stadium . In 1964 she was part of the Australian team that won the second edition of the Federation Cup . In 1997, Lesley Turner was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame .

On February 23, 1968, she married Bill Bowrey .
