Westkirchen is a district of Ennigerloh with around 2,500 inhabitants and is located north of Ennigerloh in the Warendorf district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
In terms of traffic, the place is connected via the B475 and A2. Sights include the Diek House (castle), the mill, a variety of monuments, the Catholic parish church of St. Laurentius from 1871 and the village archive. On July 19, 1868, the entire village burned down. On January 1, 1975, Westkirchen was incorporated into Ennigerloh.
Until July 2005, Westkirchen was the location of 1./FlaRakGrp 21 of the Air Force with the Hawk and Patriot weapon systems for over 40 years .
