Remarks

  1. On the advice of a doctor, Bueno only took part in the double competitions because of knee problems. Edda Buding, who was seeded at 5, moved into her place in the tableau.
  2. After Maria Esther Bueno withdrew, Edda Buding moved to her position in the tableau. As a result, Pat Walkden advanced one round without a fight.
