The bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from July 18 to 24, 2011 in Hamburg . It was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the Atlanta Tennis Championships were played in Atlanta . However, in contrast to the bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, these only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Andrei Golubew , but he was eliminated in the first round. In this year's final, Gilles Simon defeated the Spaniard Nicolás Almagro and won his second season and ninth career title. Marc López and David Marrero defended their title in doubles, but they also failed in round one. This year František Čermák and Filip Polášek lost to the duo Oliver Marach / Alexander Peya in the final . The victory in Hamburg was the first joint title of the two; for Marach it was the second season and tenth career title, Peya won an ATP tournament for the first time.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 48 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The 16 top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 1,000,000 euros; the total financial liabilities were 1,150,000 euros.
