The 2011 Delray Beach International Tennis Championships was a tennis tournament that was held in Delray Beach from February 21-27 , 2011 . It was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships were played in Dubai and the Abierto Mexicano Telcel in Acapulco . However, in contrast to the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category, these belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Ernests Gulbis , but he played another tournament that week and thus did not defend his title. The individual competition won Juan Martín del Potro , in the final he was able to defeat Janko Tipsarević . Del Potro was at Delray Beach for the first time, so he won the tournament straight away. This was his eighth ATP title and his first tournament win since his long injury break last year, and secured him a return to the top 100 in the world rankings . In doubles, Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions, but they too competed in another tournament that week. Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram won the double competition , in the final they defeated the German-Austrian duo Christopher Kas and Alexander Peya . This was their first title at Delray Beach, their second joint title of the season, and their third joint title ever.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 32 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. Total prize money was $ 442,500 and total financial liabilities were $ 500,000.
