The Moselle Open 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from September 19 to 25, 2011 in Metz . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy was played in Bucharest , which, like the Moselle Open, was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Neither the defending champion in the singles, Gilles Simon , nor last year's double winners Dustin Brown and Rogier Wassen competed to defend their title. In the final, the top seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga prevailed against Ivan Ljubičić in three sets . This was the sixth ATP title of his career and the third on French soil. In 2011 it was his first title after losing in the finals in Rotterdam and in the Queen's Club . In doubles, Jamie Murray and André Sá won the title with a two-set win over Lukáš Dlouhý and Marcelo Melo . This was their first joint title and their first tournament victory in 2011.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 398,250 euros; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.
