The Gerry Weber Open 2011 was a tennis tournament that took place from June 6th to 12th, 2011 in Halle . It was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour . In the same week, the AEGON Championships were played at the Queen’s Club in London , which, like the Gerry Weber Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The individual winner was Philipp Kohlschreiber , who beat defending champion Lleyton Hewitt in the quarter-finals. In a purely German final, he benefited from the task of Philipp Petzschner and thus won his third ATP title. It was his first triumph in Halle after losing in the same place in the final in 2008 to Roger Federer, who had to cancel his participation in 2011 due to an injury. It was also the first ATP title for a German player since Benjamin Becker's victory in 's-Hertogenbosch almost two years earlier. In doubles, Serhij Stachowskyj and Michail Juschny were unable to defend their title due to an injury to Juschny . In the final, the top seeded Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi defeated the pairing Robin Haase and Milos Raonic . This was the duo's first title in Halle and their first title of the season.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 32 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 639,150 euros, the total financial liabilities were 750,000 euros.
