Baraconi

Barakoni ( Georgian ბარაკონი ; bɑrɑkʼɔnɪ ) is a Georgian Orthodox Church in the Ratscha-Letschchumi region and Lower Vanetia , in the Ambrolauri municipality , in the historic Ratcha Province . It is located near the village of Zesi . The church was built in 1753 by the architect Avtandil Shulavreli on the order of Rostom Eristawi (Eristavi of Ratscha). The building is rectangular. Its dome rests on two freestanding columns to the west. The church is built of stone and decorated with numerous traditional Georgian ornaments.
