The Atlanta Tennis Championships 2011 were a tennis tournament that took place from July 18 to 24, 2011 in Atlanta . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2011 and will be played outdoors on hard courts. The same week the bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships were played in Hamburg . In contrast to the Atlanta Tennis Championships, which only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category, the latter belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

In the individual, defending champion Mardy Fish met John Isner in a repeat of last year's final and was able to take the title again this time. This was Fish's first season and sixth career title. In doubles, Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram went to defend their title, but they were eliminated in the first round. In this year's final, Alex Bogomolov junior and Matthew Ebden prevailed against Matthias Bachinger and Frank Moser ; The win in Atlanta is the duo's first joint title, Bogomolov's first ATP title, Ebden celebrated his second season and career title after his title debut in Newport two weeks earlier.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the double competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize pool was $ 531,000 and the total financial debt was $ 600,000.
