The BB&T Atlanta Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in Atlanta from July 22nd to 28th, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week in found Gstaad the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad instead, like the BB & T Atlanta Open on the ATP Tour 250 included, as well as in Hamburg , the Hamburg European Open to the category ATP Tour 500 counted.

The defending champions were John Isner in singles and Nicholas Monroe and John-Patrick Smith in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize pool was $ 694,995; total financial liabilities were $ 777,385.
