Cole Gromley (born December 26, 1999 in Norcross , Georgia ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Cole Gromley played in his youth for his school team Hight with which he 2017 champion of the state Georgia was. In the same year, he also became the state's best single player. In his youth he never played at a registered professional tournament of the tennis associations.

In 2018, Gromley began studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology , where he also plays college tennis . Shortly before his sophomore year, the tournament officials of the BB&T Atlanta Open awarded him a wildcard for the main draw of the individual competition. This was his first match on the ATP Tour as well as his first professional match. In this he was defeated by the French Ugo Humbert in two sets. Since then he has not participated in any other tournaments and has not yet been able to place in the world rankings .
