The Next Generation ATP Finals 2019 took place from November 5th to 9th, 2019 at PalaLido in Milan . The best tennis players under the age of 21 of the season were eligible to participate. The tournament was part of the ATP Tour 2019 . The defending champion was the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas , who did not start this year despite successfully qualifying. It was won by 18-year-old Italian Jannik Sinner .
The seven top-ranked players of the 2019 season who were 21 years of age or younger at the start of the season qualified . The best young Italian player received a wild card. There were also two reservists.
Of the originally qualified players, Stefanos Tsitsipas (also qualified for the 2019 ATP Finals ) as well as Félix Augier-Aliassime (injured) and Denis Shapovalov decided not to participate, so that the next three players moved up.
