The Mutua Madrid Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in Madrid from May 5 to 12, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on sand. This season it was the fourth of nine tournaments in the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 category .

The defending champions were Alexander Zverev in singles and Nikola Mektić and Alexander Peya in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 56 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 32 pairs. The eight top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize money was 6,536,160 euros; the total financial liabilities were 7,279,270 euros.
