The Erste Bank Open 2019 (officially: Erste Bank Open 500 ) was a tennis tournament that took place in Vienna from October 21 to 27, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played indoors on hard court. In the same week, the Swiss Indoors Basel were played in Basel , which, like the Erste Bank Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

Defending champion in singles was Kevin Anderson , in doubles it was the pairing Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

The qualification took place from October 19-20, 2019. Four places in singles and one place in doubles were played out, which entitle them to participate in the main field of the tournament.
