The Generali Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place from July 29th to August 3rd, 2019 in Kitzbühel . It was part of the ATP Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on a clay court. That same week the Abierto Mexicano de Tenis Mifel was played in Los Cabos and the Citi Open in Washington, DC . The latter belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category , while the other two tournaments belonged to the lower endowed ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champions were Martin Kližan in singles and Roman Jebavý and Andrés Molteni in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each received a bye in the first round. The total prize money was 524,340 euros; the total financial liabilities were 586,140 euros.

The qualification took place on July 27th and 28th, 2019. Four qualifying places were played that entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
