The Generali Open Kitzbühel 2015 was a tennis tournament that took place from August 3rd to 8th, 2015 in Kitzbühel . It was part of the 2015 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the Citi Open was played in Washington, DC , which, however, in contrast to the Generali Open, which belongs to the ATP World Tour 250 category, belongs to the higher category ATP World Tour 500 .

The defending champion in singles David Goffin did not participate in the tournament again. Philipp Kohlschreiber won his first title of the year or the sixth of his career, after having made it to the final in Kitzbühel in 2012 . In the final, he beat Paul-Henri Mathieu 2: 6, 6: 2, 6: 2. Henri Kontinen and Jarkko Nieminen were successful in doubles last year. Only Kontinen took part again with Robin Haase and reached the final. There they lost to Nicolás Almagro and Carlos Berlocq 7: 5, 3: 6, [9:11].

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 439,405 euros; the total financial liabilities were 494,310 euros.

The qualification for the Generali Open Kitzbühel 2015 took place on August 1st and 2nd, 2015. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser.
