Alexander Erler (born October 27, 1997 ) is an Austrian tennis player .

Career

Erler mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour and sometimes on the ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has won three future titles in singles (2018 in Egypt) and two titles at ITF tournaments (2019 in Heraklion and Wels) as well as five future and three ITF titles in doubles with changing partners. Erler also won the Austrian title in doubles in 2016 and made it to the finals in singles in 2018.

In 2015 he made his debut on the ATP World Tour in Kitzbühel at the Generali Open Kitzbühel with a wildcard . At the side of Philipp Kohlschreiber he was defeated in the first round of the doubles competition João Souza and Jiří Veselý in two sets. In the individual, he lost to his compatriot Lucas Miedler in the first round of qualification .
