Aougrout ( Arabic : أوﻗﺮت) is an Algerian municipality in the province of Timimoun with 11,784 inhabitants (as of 2008).
geography
The next town, Metarfa, is about 40 kilometers from Aougrout. Aougrout is surrounded by Charouine in the east and Metarfa in the southwest.
