The 2015 Heineken Open was a tennis tournament that took place in Auckland from January 12-17, 2015 . It was part of the 2015 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week, the Apia International Sydney was played in Sydney , which, like the Heineken Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's individual winner was John Isner . The duo Julian Knowle and Marcelo Melo won the tournament in doubles last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

The qualification for the Heineken Open 2015 took place from January 10th to 12th, 2015. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There were also two lucky losers.
