The Swiss Indoors Basel 2015 was a tennis tournament that took place in Basel from October 26th to November 1st, 2015 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2015 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the Valencia Open was played in Valencia , which, in contrast to the Swiss Indoors Basel, a tournament in the ATP World Tour 500 category, was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category . The venue for the tournament was the St. Jakobshalle , which is located just behind the Basel city limits in Münchenstein .

Defending champion in singles was Roger Federer , in doubles it was Vasek Pospisil and Nenad Zimonjić .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total financial commitments were 2,022,300 euros, the prize money was 1,575,295 euros.

qualification

The qualification took place on October 25th and 26th, 2015 in the St. Jakobshalle . Four qualifying places in the individual competition and one place in the doubles competition were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
