The BB&T Atlanta Open 2015 was a tennis tournament that took place in Atlanta from July 27th to August 2nd, 2015 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2015 and was played on hard court. In the same week were in Gstaad , the Swiss Open Gstaad and in Hamburg the Bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships played. Like the Swiss Open Gstaad, the BB&T Atlanta Open belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category , while the Bet-at-home Open German Tennis Championships belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

The defending champions were John Isner in singles and Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock in doubles .

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players each received a bye into the second round.

qualification

Qualification for the BB&T Atlanta Open 2015 took place July 25-27, 2015. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
