The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell 2015 was a tennis tournament that took place in Barcelona from April 20th to 26th, 2015 . It was part of the 2015 ATP World Tour and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week the BRD Năstase Țiriac Trophy was played in Bucharest , which, however, in contrast to the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in singles was Kei Nishikori , in doubles Jesse Huta Galung and Stéphane Robert won the title last year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 48 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

The qualification for the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell 2015 took place on April 18th and 19th, 2015. Six qualifying places in the individual competition and one place in the doubles competition were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament. There was also a lucky loser
