The Davidoff Swiss Indoors Basel 2007 was a tennis tournament that took place from October 22nd to 28th, 2007 in Basel . It was part of the ATP Tour 2007 and was played indoors on hard court. The venue for the tournament was the St. Jakobshalle , which is located just behind the Basel city limits in Münchenstein .

Defending champion in the individual was Roger Federer , who was able to defend it successfully. In his fourth appearance in the finals, it was Federer's second victory in Basel and his 52nd title overall on the ATP Tour. In this year's final he defeated Jarkko Nieminen in two sets with 6: 3 and 6: 4. In doubles, Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor no longer competed together to defend their title. While Nestor did not take part in the tournament, Knowles made it into the final together with James Blake , where they were defeated by brothers Bob and Mike Bryan in two sets with 6: 1 and 6: 1.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

The qualification for the Davidoff Swiss Indoors Basel 2007 took place from October 20th to 22nd 2007 in the St. Jakobshalle . Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
