The Open 13 2007 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 12th to 18th, 2007 in Marseille . It was part of the ATP Tour 2007 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the Brasil Open was played in Costa do Sauípe and the SAP Open in San José . Just like the Open 13, these belonged to the International Series category .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 575,000 , the total financial liabilities were € 600,000.

Arnaud Clément was the defending champion in the singles, but he failed in the first round this year. The single tournament was won by the unseed Frenchman Gilles Simon in the final against the seventh seeded Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis in two sets. It was Simon's first title on the ATP Tour.

More successful was last year's single winner Clément in the doubles competition, which he won together with Michaël Llodra in fourth place. They defeated the top seeded Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor in the match tie-break . It was Clément's eighth double title of his career and the second in Marseille; for Llodra it was the eleventh career title in doubles. It was their third joint title on the ATP tour. The defending champions of the doubles competition, Martin Damm and Radek Štěpánek , did not take part in the tournament together. While Damm did not compete that year, Štěpánek took part with his new partner Mahesh Bhupathi . Due to a rib injury Štěpánek, however, they were eliminated in the first round without a fight against the eventual tournament winners.

In addition to Stepanek's cancellation, there was an injury-related withdrawal in the run-up to the tournament. Sébastien Grosjean was also unable to take part due to an Achilles tendon injury . For these two, George Bastl and Jérémy Chardy moved up as lucky losers in the individual competition.
