For the first time in the tournament's history, the winner and the individual winner received the same prize money of £ 700,000  .

In the men's singles Roger Federer won for the fifth time in a row and in the ladies singles Venus Williams . In the men's doubles won Arnaud Clément and Michaël Llodra , in women's doubles Cara Black and Liezel Huber . Jelena Janković and Jamie Murray won the mixed title .
