The 30th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1906 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road.
The Russian Grand Duke Michael and his daughter Anastasia attended the tournament.
Men's singles
Laurence Doherty defeated Frank Riseley in the Challenge Round and achieved his fifth and final title.
Ladies singles
In a new edition of last year's Challenge Round , Dorothea Douglass defeated last year's winner May Sutton .
Men's doubles
In the Challenge Round this year, Sydney Smith and Frank Riseley beat Laurence and Reginald Doherty 6: 8, 6: 4, 5: 7, 6: 3 and 6: 3.
