The 18th edition of the Wimbledon Championships took place in 1894 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road. While there was a slight increase in the number of participants in the All-Comers tournament for women with eleven players, the number for men decreased to 22 players.

This year new washing facilities and showers were installed on the site.

Men's singles

Joshua Pim defended his Challenge Round title against Wilfred Baddeley , who had previously defeated Ernest Lewis in the All-Comers final.

Ladies singles

In the women's category, Blanche Bingley-Hillyard was able to win her third title after 1886 and 1889 by beating Edith Austin in the All-Comers final . Last year's winner Charlotte Dod did not defend her title in the Challenge Round .

Men's doubles

Wilfred and Herbert Baddeley prevailed against Harold Barlow and the American Charles Martin with 5: 7, 7: 5, 4: 6, 6: 3 and 8: 6.
