The 24th Wimbledon Championships took place in 1900 on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Worple Road.
A mixed competition was held for the first time. As in the women's doubles tournament that started in the previous year, championship status was only recognized in mixed from 1913.
Men's singles
With a four-set win over Sydney Howard Smith in the Challenge Round , Reginald Doherty won his fourth title in a row.
Ladies singles
In the women’s category, Blanche Bingley-Hillyard won her sixth and final title. The US-American Marion Jones took part in the women's competition for the first time from outside the UK.
Men's doubles
The Doherty brothers defeated Herbert Roper Barrett and Harold Nisbet in the Challenge Round 9: 7, 7: 5, 4: 6, 3: 6 and 6: 3.
