The 130th Wimbledon Championships were the third of four Grand Slam tournaments of the season, the most highly endowed tennis tournaments . They took place in London from June 27th to July 10th, 2016 . The host was the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club .

Defending champions in the singles were Novak Đoković in the men and Serena Williams in the women. In the men's doubles, Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecău were the winners of the previous year , in the women's doubles Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza . The defending champions in mixed were Martina Hingis and Leander Paes .

Prize money
