The Grand Prix Hassan II 2016 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 6th to 12th, 2016 in Marrakech . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2016 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week, the US Men's Clay Court Championships 2016 were played in Houston , which, like the Grand Prix Hassan II, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's winner in the individual was Martin Kližan . In doubles, the pairing Rameez Junaid and Adil Shamasdin won the title the previous year.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round. The total prize money was 463,520 euros; the total financial liabilities were 520,070 euros.
