The Grand Prix Hassan II 2009 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 6th to 12th, 2009 in Casablanca . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2009 and was played outdoors on a clay court. In the same week, the US Men's Clay Court Championships were played in Houston , which, like the Grand Prix Hassan II, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Last year's individual winner Gilles Simon did not defend his title this year. The individual competition was won by Juan Carlos Ferrero , in the final he prevailed against Florent Serra . This was the first title in the current year and his twelfth overall ATP title. In doubles, Albert Montañés and Santiago Ventura were the defending champions, but this year they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Łukasz Kubot and Oliver Marach . They won this year's final against Simon Aspelin and Paul Hanley in three sets. For Kubot it was the first double title of his career, for Marach the third, after he had already won two tournaments with his former double partner Michal Mertiňák .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 398,250 US dollars; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.
