Rabie Chaki (born April 14, 1982 ) is a retired Moroccan tennis player .

Career

From 2001 to 2006, Chaki played professional tournaments on the ITF Future Tour mainly in North Africa . He reached his first final at this level in his first year. Then it took until 2006 until he was back in a final and won it. This year he finished for the first time with a placement in the top 600 of the world rankings . He was also appointed to the Moroccan Davis Cup team for the first time , where he played until 2010 and has a positive record of 15: 6.

In 2007 Chaki won two more titles and also played his first individual match on the ATP Tour in Casablanca . This was lost to Slimane Saoudi . In 2008 he triumphed three times in futures, and twice more in 2009. It was not until 2009 that he tried to establish himself on the higher endowed ATP Challenger Tour . Only in Marrakech was he once in a quarter-finals. Otherwise he could not assert himself at this level. In February 2010 it was listed highest in the individual with 338th place. In doubles, the Moroccan made it to the final once in Fez in 2007 , after having made it to the next round twice without a fight. In 2009 he was best placed with 327th place. He was unable to complete any of his two singles and four doubles matches on the World Tour, all of which he received through wildcards from the Moroccan tournament officials. In mid-2010 he played his last tournament.
