Victor Bers

Victor Bers (born August 30, 1944 in Providence ) is an American classical philologist .

Life

After promotion to the Ph. D. at Harvard University in 1972, he taught as a professor of Classics at Yale University .

His main research interests are Greek literature of the 5th and 4th centuries BC. BC, especially for tragedies and rhetoric and Greek stylistics.
