Vic Seixas won his only single title at Wimbledon. In the final he beat the Dane Kurt Nielsen in three sets.

Maureen Connolly defended her women's title. Connolly won the first women's Grand Slam that year .

Lew Hoad and Ken Rosewall won the men's doubles .
Ladies doubles
Shirley Fry and Doris Hart won their third title in a row in women's doubles.

Doris Hart and Vic Seixas won the mixed competition .
