The Bayerische KulturLandStiftung is a foundation under civil law based in Munich . It was founded in April 2011 by the Bbv-LandSiedlung , a service company of the Bavarian Farmers' Association . The purpose of the foundation is to promote nature, environmental, landscape protection and water management in Bavaria in accordance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the nature conservation laws of the states.

The Bavarian cultural landscape is to be secured and preserved through sustainable use. This should break new ground in environmental and nature protection.

The foundation wants to give impulses and establish topics in environmental and nature conservation. Your concern is the joint planning and active implementation of compensatory and replacement measures with municipalities, farmers and foresters.

Bavarian cultural landscape

The employees advise, plan and manage areas that have been acquired for nature conservation and landscape maintenance and ensure their sustainable maintenance and development. The foundation accompanies the implementation and documents the measures and their results. Upon request, exchange areas can be procured and / or your own areas can be incorporated into projects. The goal is always to work out sustainable solutions for the preservation of the cultural landscape in consensus with the owners and managers.

The foundation has three foundation bodies .

Foundation Board

The board is supported by an advisory board made up of representatives from politics, agriculture, nature conservation, science and advisory services. Composition of the advisory board (as of 2016):
